Bangkok Airways adds Flights to Phuket; launches Special Fares Promotion

Bangkok Airways is to increase frequency on the popular Bangkok-Phuket route with another daily service during weekends starting this Friday, August 15.

The addition of flights (PG 273 and PG 274), to be available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, will be operated by Airbus 320 with 162 seats.

PG 273 will leave Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 13.45 to arrive in Phuket at 15.00. PG 274 will leave Phuket at 15.50 to arrive in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi Airport) at 17.10.

Currently, the airline operates twice daily on this route with departures from Bangkok at 11.45 and 17.30, and departures from Phuket at 13.50 and 19.40.

Bangkok Airways has also launched a “Best of the Best” promotion, offering 1,000 Baht one-way fares to Chiang Mai and Sukhothai, 1,250 Baht to Phuket and Trat (Koh Chang), and 2,800 Baht to Samui.

For the airline's international routes, the promotion is based on round-trip fares starting from 4,500 Baht for Phnom Penh, Yangon and Pakse; 5,000 Baht for Ho Chi Minh City and Shenzhen; 6,500 Baht for Luang Prabang and Guilin; 7,500 Baht for Siem Reap and 10,000 Baht for Xian.

Trips must be made no later than September 15th and the promotional fares quoted are exclusive of airport taxes, insurance fee and fuel surcharge etc.
