Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts appoints New Vice President, Regional General Manager - Asia Pacific

Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts has appointed Mr Paul Rene Lee as Vice President, Regional General Manager for Asia Pacific.

Mr Lee will be based at Parkroyal’s Corporate Office in Singapore. Reporting directly to President and CEO of UOL Group Ltd, Mr Lee will oversee hotel operations of the Parkroyal Group including new hotel openings in support of the group’s expansion plans.

With 23 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Mr Lee has previously held senior management positions at both hotel and corporate levels in Thailand, Singapore, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Macau.

Mr Lee holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Hotel & Restaurant Administration (Honours) and has a strong background in hotel operations, pre-opening and opening of hotels and project management.

Ms. Wee Wei Ling, Executive Director of the Parkroyal Group said, “Paul has a wealth of experience in managing hotels. His expertise and strong track record in the industry will contribute significantly to the growth of the Parkroyal Group as we continue to plant new seeds in the region.”

Parkroyal Hotels & Resorts is a wholly owned hotel management subsidiary of Hotel Plaza Limited which has a portfolio of 11 hotels in the Asia Pacific region.
