Rosewood Corniche in Jeddah launches Weekend Breaks Promotion

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Wednesday, 13 February 2008

One of Jeddah's newest luxury hotels is expecting a fresh surge in business as more and more families and couples from Riyadh and the Eastern Province enjoy weekend breaks on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast this year.

The Rosewood Corniche has responded to the growing trend for weekend getaways by launching special two-night packages offering guests a choice of self-drive luxury and family cars included in the room rate.

Prices range from 5,000 SAR for a luxurious Rosewood Suite which can comfortably accommodate a family of four, and comes with a Mercedes E Class or a GMC Yukon, to 1800 SAR (double) or 1500 SAR (single) for a Danah Room, with a Chevrolet Caprice or Lumina included.

For an extra 1150 SAR per day Rosewood Suite guests can have a BMW 7 Series to help them explore Jeddah's many cultural, historical and leisure attractions over the weekend.

Families or couples choosing an executive suite can also pick from a Mercedes E Class or GMC Yukon which is included in the room rate.

The rates for suites include complimentary breakfast for two adults and two children, views of the Red Sea, for which the hotel is becoming famous, in-room check-in, welcome drink on arrival, and VIP amenities. Other special amenities are provided for honeymooners.

Danah Room guests also enjoy complimentary breakfast, in-room check-in, welcome drinks and VIP amenities.

"When you're going away for the weekend with your family or as a couple, it's important to feel comfortable, relaxed, and as much at home as possible," said Hans-Peter Leitzke, Managing Director of the Rosewood Corniche. "That's we've set out to achieve in designing our new weekend packages, and we've included cars because so many of our guests like to get out and about to see what Jeddah has to offer."
