Lisa Cotter joins Oakwood as Vice President of Marketing

Oakwood has appointed Lisa Cotter as Vice President of Marketing. With over 20 years marketing experience, Cotter will provide leadership and direction for all aspects of global marketing including strategy development and execution of tactical marketing plans as well as overseeing advertising, media, market research, direct marketing, internet marketing, public relations and the worldwide brand. She will also proactively analyze and adjust marketing activity to drive business results ensuring global brand consistency in all directed areas.

Over the past ten years, Cotter has been implementing her marketing skills at Disney Destinations, most recently at Disneyland Resort, where she worked as Vice President of Marketing and led the marketing strategy team to set records for resort attendance for four consecutive years, grew operating income and optimized the resort's loyalty program through new acquisition, retention and pricing strategies.

Prior to joining Disney, Cotter worked at the Hershey Foods Corporation, where she managed cross functional teams and grew profitability for some of the company's most popular candy brands, including Hershey's Kisses, Kit Kat and York peppermint patties as well as successfully launching Reese's NutRageous, one of the company's most successful product line extensions.

Lisa Cotter holds an MBA with distinction from the University of Michigan and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Southern California.
