The World Travel Awards Asian and Indian Ocean Ceremony are
to be staged in Shanghai alongside the Asia Luxury Travel Market (ALTM) 2008.
Recognising excellence in the region’s travel and tourism industry, the World Travel Awards
will be presented for the first time at the Swissôtel Grand Shanghai on June 19.
The ALTM, only the second ever, opens at the nearby Shanghai Exhibition Centrer
on June 17, has been nominated in the ‘Best Leading Travel Exhibition’ category.
Attended by senior executives from major travel companies, operators and destinations,
World Travel Awards events are renowned for providing top-level networking opportunities.
The event is part of the World Travel Awards Grand Tour with regional awards staged throughout the world, culminating in a Grand Final in
Turks & Caicos in the Caribbean on December 12.
