InterContinental Hotels Group appoints Thierry Perrot Director of Operations Egypt and Libya

InterContinental Hotels Group has appointed Thierry Perrot as the new Director of Operations Egypt and Libya.

Perrot has over 27 years of IHG experience and as part of his new position he will also be continuing in his role of General Manager at the prestigious InterContinental Cairo CityStars, located within the CityStars development – Cairo’s largest retail and leisure complex.

Perrot moves into this new function from his position as Area General Manager for InterContinental Hotels Group CityStars, Cairo.

Following his first role with the group in 1981 at InterContinental Geneva, Perrot moved into the position of Financial Controller, working in several locations including London and Nairobi. Perrot was then transferred and promoted to Director of Finance at the Carlton InterContinental Cannes in the South of France.

After six years, Perrot ventured to Asia where he took up the position of Regional Financial Controller for Indonesia, based at the Borobudur InterContinental Jakarta. He then took on the joint role of Regional Finance and Resident Manager at the same property. Staying in Asia, Perrot transferred to Seoul, Korea in 1999 to take up the role of Resident Manager at the Grand InterContinental Seoul, following which he then moved to the COEX InterContinental Seoul as Hotel Manager.
