Coral International Hotels, Resorts & Spas has signed a new management contract with Mr Mohammed Tayeb Khoury for a 144 room hotel in Al Barsha, Dubai.

Conveniently located just minutes away from the Mall of the Emirates, the hotel is ideal for both business and leisure travellers. Equipped with top-notch facilities and services, the luxurious property will be ready to welcome its first guests before the end of the year.

Coral Executive Apartments, Al Barsha offers outstanding luxury and comfort with all the modern in-room facilities like plasma screen televisions with satellite channels, DVD players, fully-equipped kitchen, attached bathrooms, balconies as well as a separate lounge cum dining rooms. Other facilities include a conference room that will cater to all the banqueting and meeting needs of guests, international restaurants, a swimming pool, spa, as well as female and male gymnasiums.

Michel Noblet, Managing Director, HMH – Hospitality Management Holdings, said, "Aside from the convenience of prime location in the heart of new Dubai, the hotel’s greatest advantage is its friendly architecture. The property has been designed keeping in mind the needs of both  short and long staying corporate travellers and families. The units are spacious and flexible ranging from studios, to one, two and three bedroom apartments."

6.95 million tourists visited Dubai in 2007, an increase of 8% on 2006 which itself saw a rise in visitors of 5% on 2005. Dubai is expected to cater to 15 million tourists per year by around 2015. This has naturally led to a huge demand for quality accommodations.

Michel added, "Travel and tourism industry accounts for more than 10% of global GDP and is a key focus for the government of Dubai’s economic plan for the emirates. The phenomenal development of hotels in Dubai and the speed at which the emirates has taken its place in the world’s top destinations is startling. Globally, the World Travel and Tourism Council forecasts 4% growth rate for the travel and tourism industry over the next 10 years and Dubai is obviously going to reap the rewards. We are delighted to be part of this wonderful growth."

Coral International is targeting 4000 rooms by the end of next year across its upcoming properties that are in various stages of development in the Middle East and beyond. The chain currently has over 1500 rooms in operation.
