Nils Rothbarth appointed General Manager of new Gold Swiss-Belhotel Dubai

Swiss-Belhotel International Middle East has appointed Nils Rothbarth as the pre-opening General Manager of the group's first Dubai property, Gold Swiss-Belhotel Dubai.

German-born, Nils Rothbarth has more than 13 years experience in the hospitality industry. His career grew from a hotel management traineeship and food and beverage roles to his first posting as a General Manager in 2000. He has held positions in Germany and South Africa and most recently, prior to joining Swiss-Belhotel International he was General Manager of the Garden Court Sandton City hotel in South Africa.

“Nils has strong leadership qualities which are essential for creating, developing and motivating a new team of staff from varying countries. His role joining us in the pre-opening phase will be critical to the success of the project, our first in Dubai,” said Edgar Solenthaler, Vice President Operations & Development, Swiss-Belhotel International Middle East.

Hong Kong-based Swiss-Belhotel International manages hotels and projects in China, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Kuwait. The group also has a Middle East development office located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
