Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya Mexico launches Wellness Yoga Retreat Program

Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya, Mexico has launched an exclusive "Wellness Yoga Retreat", a four-day holistic program featuring guided meditations, yoga classes and yogic diet and nutrition sessions from 24 to 27 July 2008 with future programs scheduled 28 to 31 August, 25 to 28 September and 23 to 26 October. Guests will have an opportunity to enjoy a relaxing weekend break at this award-winning spa and hideaway resort located on Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula while restoring their mind, body and soul.

“Whether guests are just starting out or experienced yoga students, our yoga retreat is the perfect choice to build motivation and help achieve their goals,” said Clive McNish, the resort's Spa Director. “Our experienced instructors will take guests on a peaceful journey of renewal and enlightenment while enjoying exotic Mayan and Oriental spa treatments and our luxurious facilities.”

Leading the Yoga Retreat is Yoga Instructor Rishi Bhardawaj. A native of India, Mr Bhardawaj comes from a family of yoga experts and has been teaching yoga for almost 15 years. With support from qualified and experienced trainers, Mr Bhardawaj will guide guests at their own pace and determine the best possible programs to continue on their path towards health and wellness.

The retreat begins on Thursday evening with a welcome group dinner and opportunity to meet with instructors and fellow guests. Throughout the weekend, guests will experience Asana and Pranayama yoga sessions, diet and nutrition classes, quiet time for meditations, group discussions and bask in the luxurious accommodation at Mexico’s most sophisticated resort.

The “Wellness Yoga Retreat” includes:

• Three-night stay at the luxurious Mandarin Oriental Riviera Maya
• Yogic breakfast daily and one group dinner
• Choice of one spa treatment (Aromatherapy massage, Aromastone or Thai massage)
• Morning and evening yoga sessions
• Daily meditations
• Diet and nutrition classes
• Participation in daily fitness activities
• Complimentary use of Heat and Water Therapies including Steam, Sauna, Vitality Pool
• Round-trip airport transfers

Rates for the package are inclusive of tax and from US$2465 (single occupancy) and US$3340 (double occupancy). Rates are for  a three-night stay as described above, including round trip airport transfers, daily healthy spa breakfast, one dinner and yoga and spa programs.
