The Spa at the Mandarin Oriental, Miami has launched a new range of creative spa treatments designed especially for teenagers. From fun, sparkly manicures and pedicures, refreshing facials and deliciously scented scrubs, to relaxing massages and professional make-up application, teenagers 14 years and older may partake in a variety of new teen offerings on the spa menu. Teens can also take advantage of the Spa’s heat experiences and facilities.

In addition, fun and trendy belly dancing and salsa classes are available at the Spa, which can be enjoyed with friends or parents. The new menu of treatments created especially for teens includes:

Totally Scrumptious Teen Mani or Pedi: Teens can enjoy a special nail treatment as their therapist exfoliates their hands and feet with a Raspberry Chocolate Scrub, then files and buffs their nails to perfection and ends the treatment with a polish application with their choice of trendy colors and sparkly jewels. The cost for 25 minutes (manicure or pedicure) is US$37 and a Mani/Pedi Combo is US$74.

Teen Facial: This special experience is designed to give TLC, with a cleansing and relaxing face treatment using a gentle skin refiner, pressure point massage and a calming mineral mask to complete the treatment and leave skin with a healthy and radiant glow. A deep scalp massage finishes the treatment. At the end of the facial, the therapist will give suggestions on proper at-home skin care techniques. The cost for a 65-minute treatment is US$150.

Aromatherapy Massage: Whether to clear the mind before a major exam or to get ready for a special dance, this treatment will help get a teenager in the right frame of mind. Using blends of aromatherapy oils, the therapist will release all the tensions caused by stress. The cost for a 50 minute treatment is US$150.

Totally Scrumptious Scrub: Get healthy, glowing skin with this full body exfoliation. The therapist will brush off dead skin cells before treating the teenage guest to a deliciously scented Raspberry Chocolate Scrub. The cost for 20 minutes is US$70.

Make-Up Application: Teenagers can learn some great make-up techniques from a professional make-up artist. A group of girlfriends will not only get some great advice on how to apply gorgeous make-up, but everyone will look amazing after their makeover. This is ideal for groups of 4-6 girls and costs US$100 per person for a 2-3 hour session.

Nutrition and Wellness: For teens looking to start a new healthy lifestyle or perhaps maintain their current good habits, our nutritionist will explore topics such as “Body & Soul: Acknowledging a Healthy Body Image” and “Nutrition 101: Good Meals and Alternative Snacks.” The cost for a one-hour consultation is US$140.
