China Southern Airlines increases Fuel Surcharges

China Southern Airlines today increases its fuel surcharges on most international routes, in an attempt to assist in offsetting the continuing surge in aircraft fuel prices.

The new one-way fuel surcharge will be 1,100 Chinese Yuan (CNY) on routes between China and Africa, Australia, the USA, Europe and the Middle East.

A one-way fuel surcharge of CNY 550 will apply on routes within the South Asia Subcontinent and between China and South Asia, East Asia and Korea, while a one-way fuel surcharge of CNY 260 will apply between Guangzhou and Bangkok.
