The  luxury city-centre resort, the Park Hyatt Dubai, has launched a special rate for summer 2008. The summer promotion offers a Park King Room with rates starting from Dhs 950++ per night. The promotion is valid from June until 31st August 2008.

Park Hyatt Dubai is located on the banks of the Dubai Creek, adjacent to the world-famous Dubai Creek Golf Course, providing the perfect haven for a summer escape. Guestrooms at the hotel are all a minimum of 50 sqm, not including the additional space of a terrace or balcony, and offer soothing views across the Creek. Each of the 225 guestrooms are luxuriously appointed in keeping with the Park Hyatt brand, and offer the latest in contemporary solutions for modern business and leisure travellers, including an LCD television and high-speed Internet access.

The hotel also features eight unique Residential Spa Rooms, each with their own private steam room and treatment area, enabling guests to enjoy a premium spa experience without leaving the privacy of their room. Park Suites feature a spacious living area adjoining the bedroom, while Park Executive Suites benefit from an additional dressing room and a balcony offering a prime view across the marina and Creek Park. The Presidential and Royal Suites are the epitome of luxury, and are a perfect city-centre retreat for dignitaries and VIPs.

An 840 sqm ballroom, three meeting rooms, an executive boardroom, an impressive pre-function area covering more than 300 sqm, and intimate courtyards with views over the Dubai Creek and marina position Park Hyatt Dubai as a perfect setting for social functions and private events for up to 1,000 guests.

For those looking to enjoy a more leisurely visit, the resort features the luxury day spa retreat Amara, offering a wide range of beauty and holistic treatments. Along with the unique private treatment guestrooms, each with its own private garden, Amara features a 25 m outdoor pool with palm islands set within. Guests in pursuit of a more active stay can visit the fitness studio equipped with the latest generation of equipment, or can avail themselves of the international-standard golf facilities within the complex, operated by Dubai Golf.

World-class cuisines, stylish decor and spectacular views characterise Park Hyatt Dubai’s restaurants and bars.

Café Arabesque¸ which celebrates the culinary delights of the Levantine region, is influenced by the flavours of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria. Café Arabesque offers five buffet displays, a mezze selection, as well as an à la carte menu featuring a wide selection of kebabs and other regional specialities. The open bakery and the two wood-burning ovens further enhance the experience by capturing traditional aromatic flavours.

The Thai Kitchen, serving authentic cuisine prepared by native chefs, has four live working kitchens - one each for wok, grill, steam and noodles - as well as a kitchen preparing traditional Thai desserts. Reminiscent of the hustle and bustle of downtown Bangkok, The Thai Kitchen has seating positioned around the kitchens to allow guests to enjoy the sights and aromas of classic Thai cuisine preparation.

Traiteur presents modern European cuisine in striking architecture. A magnificent showpiece staircase connects the restaurant’s two levels and gives great views of the kitchens. With a signature elevated show kitchen that literally positions chefs “on stage”, Traiteur is as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the palate. The lounge that is suspended from the ceiling specialises in wines and traditional European aperitifs. Traiteur also offers an exclusive Cave Privée set amidst a 4,200-bottle wine cellar, one of the most extensive cellars in Dubai. Traiteur’s outdoor terrace provides a cosy venue to enjoy music and cocktails while enjoying the marina views. With the addition of two private dining rooms, Traiteur can offer a different dining experience every time a guest visits.

With floor-to-ceiling windows that allow for views of the Dubai Creek, The Terrace is a perfect venue to relax and enjoy the sunset over the water. The Terrace offers three distinct settings: the indoor bar, the canopy-covered terrace and the outdoor boardwalk set amidst abundant palm trees. The indoor bar features a spectacular central stand-alone raw bar offering a selection of caviar, oysters and Baltic salmon accompanied by a vast selection of some 20 premium vodkas.

The Lounge is situated in the heart of the hotel and has large windows overlooking the Creek. Surrounded by several water features and featuring a central indoor garden, the Arabic-themed Lounge provides a peaceful haven, with large, comfortable furniture set on spectacular coloured Persian carpets. The adjoining outdoor terrace with reflecting pools and magically lit candles in the evenings is an idyllic setting to enjoy a fine selection of light meals, and specialty coffee and teas from the region.

Finally, the signature chic pastry boutique, Pistache, completes the experience at the Park Hyatt Dubai. Pistache offers delicate sweet specialties from the Levant, displayed like rare jewels and beautifully packaged for gift-giving or as an exclusive souvenir of Dubai for guests to take away.
