Langham Hotels strengthens Development Team for Future Expansion

Langham Hotels International (LHI) has appointed the following two senior executives to its development team.

Harry Littlewood, Director of Development: Mr. Littlewood has spent 12 years working in Hong Kong and Guangdong province, China accumulating extensive experiences in the China market and developing a thorough understanding of Chinese business practices. Mr. Littlewood started his career in the hospitality industry with Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong and subsequently joined Luhu Golf and Country Club, Guangzhou, where he was responsible for the pre-opening of new restaurants and food & beverage operations. Throughout his career he has assumed operations management positions in different sectors including real estate, education and luxury auto development. Before joining LHI, Mr. Littlewood was Operations Manager of Hong Yue An Group, Guangzhou, where he was involved in negotiations with Ferrari, Rolls Royce and Porsche AG for securing brand representation and retail in the South China region.

Mr. Littlewood will report to Mr. Helmut Knipp, Senior Vice-President, Development of LHI.

Stefan Heintze, Director of Development / Special Projects: Graduated from Lausanne Hotel School, Mr. Heintze possesses over 14 years of experience working in international hotels and leading private clubs in Asia, including Thailand, Hong Kong, China and Taiwan. He started his career with Kempinski Hotel Beijing Lufthansa Centre, where he acquired valuable hotel pre-opening and restaurants set-up experience. Mr. Heintze then joined CCA International and had managerial job rotation among various clubs managed by the group in Asia including the position as Operations Analyst at their headquarters in Hong Kong. Mr. Heintze also held senior management roles in hotels and resorts in Asia. He was Resident Manager of Pathumwan Princess Hotel, Bangkok and Dusit Resort Pattaya Hotel respectively, both managed by the Dusit Group and prior to joining LHI, Mr. Heintze was Pre-opening and Opening General Manager of Palmerston Suites Tianjin Hotel in China. Mr. Heintze will also report to Mr. Helmut Knipp.
