Millennium Hotels & Resorts to open First Sharia All-Suite Hotel in Dubai

Millennium Burooj Suites Hotel Apartments opening October 2007 in Port Saeed, Dubai, holds the double honour of being the first all-suite hotel worldwide for Millennium Hotels & Resorts as well as the company’s first Sharia residential property.

Mr Reda Moukthar, General Manager said, “We are delighted to be opening the first all-suite five-star hotel for Millennium Hotels & Resorts in such an exciting growth market as Dubai. With an average suite size of 40 to 135 sqm, the Millennium Burooj Suites will be a truly five-star property with services and facilities to rival any in the city. Whether for business travellers requiring spacious accommodations in which to work and relax, or suites with kitchen facilities and additional bedrooms for accompanying family members, the hotel will cater to a varied market and nationality base.”

With 164 one and two bedroom suites plus two penthouse suite, Millennium Burooj Suites will also offer three restaurants, swimming pool, gymnasium and meeting rooms. Many of the accommodations command magnificent views of the Creek with its landscaped parks, and include balconies, kitchenettes, bathrooms with separate standing shower and Jacuzzi, flat screen TVs, luxuriously comfortable seating and working desks with high speed internet connections and business centre.

Developed by Burooj Properties, a wholly owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, the Millennium Burooj Suites represents the first of several Sharia’a residential hotels to be announced by the developer.
