Tiger Airways to offer Seat Selector option on All Flights

Travel News Asia Friday, 6 April 2007

Tiger Airways has confirmed that it will be offering its popular Seat Selector service on all its routes starting 16 April 2007. This follows positive feedback from passengers to the recent successful launch of the Seat Selector services on its Singapore – Perth route from 23 March 2007.

The Seat Selector service is the pre-flight allocation option offered to passengers who prefer to select their choice of seat at the time of booking their flight for a small fee. This easy to use system allows passengers the choice of selecting their seats prior to their flight, so that they can be assured of their flight seating arrangements.

“The Seat Selector service introduced on the Singapore-Perth route has received very positive feedback from our passengers. Due to the response, we decided to offer it on all our routes. This is in line with Tiger Airways policy of giving our customers more optional choices and services, said Tiger Airways Chief Marketing and Commercial Officer Rosalynn Tay.

Passengers who do not opt for Seat Selector will be allocated seats during the check-in process on a first-come-first-served basis.
