Phuket's C9 Hotelworks launches Innovative Internet Marketing Campaign

Travel News Asia Tuesday, 6 March 2007

Phuket-based property developer C9 Hotelworks has launched a website and worldwide video competition urging the global community to interpret their idea of the perfect lifestyle on the island, for the chance to win fantastic prizes in the process.

In association with the Mövenpick Residence Karon Beach, the PhuketPerfect.com website guides viewers to a dedicated page on the successful You Tube website where they can upload their idea of the perfect Phuket day or lifestyle.

Participants can now upload their videos illustrating the perfect Phuket lifestyle with the competition closing on April 15. Winners will be announced on the website on April 30.

The grand prize is a week-long stay at the Mövenpick Residence.

Bill Barnett, Managing Director C9 Hotelworks, who acts as Mövenpick Residence Project Marketer, says promotion is not just about a single condominium development but a campaign to display the perfect tropical lifestyle Phuket offers all year round.

“Phuket is booming at the moment, both on the condominium investment front and on the tourist front and we hope this campaign shows to the world that Phuket is as wonderful as ever,” Mr Barnett said

“We wanted to do something not just for the Mövenpick Residence but also for the entire Phuket community to show our fantastic lifestyle continues here and this is a great opportunity for others to get involved in the prosperous times we are experiencing.”

“We believe we are leading the way with this campaign and this ‘home movie’ completely new, we hope it brings some good results to Phuket and these videos will remain in cyberspace for years to come.”

The opulent Mövenpick Residence condominiums have been officially launched for sale or alternatively are available for tourists who prefer their own contained living space while visiting Phuket. The apartments are managed by the adjacent five-star Mövenpick Resort and Spa Karon Beach.

Thirty new two-bedroom apartments make up the Mövenpick Residence, set on 2.5km of pristine white sandy beach, affording travellers the privacy and ability to create a “home” during their stay – especially appealing to investors, couples, families and long staying guests.
