Travel News Asia Thursday, 5 July 2007

Mr. Vincent Arnaud has been appointed as the new General Manager of the InterContinental Jordan in Amman. Mr. Arnaud returns to the hotel after having previously held the position of Resident Manager there for close to three years between 2002 and 2005.

After his first posting at InterContinental Jordan, Arnaud was promoted within InterContinental Hotels Group to General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Beirut, where he helped reposition the modern property for both business and leisure travellers.

Prior to that, Arnaud worked in various senior executive positions in several locations including Resident Manager of InterContinental Muscat, Oman, and Rooms Division Manager of Le Grand InterContinental, Paris in France.

Arnaud's return as General Manager of the InterContinental Jordan will ensure he continues to build on his well established name in the country as a professional hotelier, achieving excellent business results with guest satisfaction as his number one priority.

"I am delighted to be back in Jordan - It is a beautiful country where I have always enjoyed working with many professional hoteliers, travellers and guests," said Arnaud. "I am looking forward to the new challenges and achievements that will come with this post now that market demands have matured and diversified."

The InterContinental Jordan enjoys a prime location at the heart of the business and diplomatic area of Amman and is within walking distance of the bustling city centre.
