Galileo
has signed a global agreement with SilkAir, the regional wing of Singapore Airlines. Under the agreement, Galileo will provide its
automated fare filing solution, Agency Private Fares, to the regional carrier’s market pricing, thereby providing Galileo-connected travel agents
worldwide access to the most up-to-date fares.
SilkAir’s Vice President Commercial, David Lim said, “As we seek to optimise efficiencies in our sales and distribution, this partnership with
Galileo will widen our reach and drive our penetration into new markets. Travel agents continue to be a cornerstone of our business and we
believe this development will help them sell more effectively.”
