IHG appoints Guzman Muela as General Manager of InterContinental Al Ain Resort

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has appointed Guzman Muela as General Manager at the InterContinental Al Ain Resort.

Muela joins the property with over 10 years experience with the group. He began his career as Assistant Food & Beverage manager at InterContinental Rio, Brazil and has also worked for IHG at properties in Venezuela, Dubai and Spain as both Food & Beverage Manager and later, Executive Manager. His most recent position was at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Estepona in Costa del Sol.

In his new role, Muela will oversee all management functions with a focus on the further development of the incentives and meetings market, which is an integral part of the hotel's business.

InterContinental Al Ain Resort caters for every potential occasion, from business meetings for less than 10 guests to formal banquets for more than 1,000. The property offers a variety of 'in the know' experiences ranging from dune drives, camel rides, traditional dinners and poolside events.
