Thai Airways adds Flights to Phuket and Chiang Mai for Constitution Day and the New Year

Thai Airways International has increased flights on its domestic sectors departing from Bangkok, destined for Chiang Mai and Phuket, in order to meet increased passenger demand during the Constitution Day holiday period of 8 to 10 December 2007 and the New Years holiday period of 26 December 2007 to 6 January 2008.

During these periods the airline will increase flights and conduct aircraft rotation to larger capacity aircraft at a total of 35 flights or an increase of over 13,140 seats, compared to the originally operated flights to Chiang Mai and Phuket during the period at 144,157 seats, at a total of over 157,297 seats or an increase of 9.12%. Details as follows:

Constitution Day During 8-10 December 2007

Bangkok – Chiang Mai - Increase of 2 flights

Bangkok – Phuket - Increase of 2 flights

New Year 2008 During 26 December 2007 – 6 January 2008

Bangkok – Chiang Mai - Increase of 10 flights and change to larger aircraft type for 3 flights

Bangkok – Phuket - Increase of 17 flights and change to larger aircraft type for 1 flight
