Second Annual YP Rocks to be held at the New LAX Nightclub in Las Vegas

Travel News Asia Thursday, 30 August 2007

After a successful inaugural event, the 2nd annual YP Rocks party will be held on Monday, 10 September 2007, at 9:30 p.m. in conjunction with THETRADESHOW (9-11 September 2007 in Las Vegas).

This is one of the hottest evening events at THETRADESHOW and will take place at the brand new LAX Nightclub located in the Luxor. YP Rocks is a free event for travel professionals under the age of 40. There will be a US$20 cover charge for travel professionals over the age of 40 and all attendees must be 21 and over. The required dress is casual chic and stylish attire, and a complimentary bar will be available.

"YP Rocks is a fun event and a great opportunity for new and more experienced travel professionals to meet business contacts in a relaxed, pressure-free setting," said Chris Russo, chairman of ASTA's Young Professionals Society. "ASTA's YPS is proud to provide support for this exciting event."

The LAX Nightclub in the Luxor was chosen as the ideal venue because of the dynamic atmosphere. Outfitted in rich, red leather and adorned with oversized mirrors and shimmering chandeliers, the club features a funky décor and top-tier sound system. A swanky dance floor anchors the lower level of LAX and is surrounded by an abundance of VIP tables and a raised DJ platform. Those attending YP Rocks will be among the first to see this new club.
