Travel News Asia Friday, 29 June 2007

Travelocity-owned online travel company ZUJI, and Hong Kong Disneyland have entered into a distribution agreement to market the resort’s hotel rooms online via ZUJI sites in Asia Pacific.

ZUJI customers can now check the price and availability of the hotel rooms in real time, and get instant confirmation of Hong Kong Disneyland resort hotel bookings on ZUJI sites in: Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, India, Taiwan and New Zealand. The hotels can also be booked on other Travelocity-owned sites globally.

The Disneyland Hotel and Disney’s Hollywood Hotel are located next to the Disneyland theme park on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Other Disney hotels, such as those at the Disneyland Resort in California and Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, are already available on ZUJI and Travelocity. A planned future enhancement will allow Hong Kong Disneyland theme park tickets to be sold on-line as well.

Travelocity customers booked 16.6 million hotel room nights across the network in 2006, a growth of 30% year-over-year. ZUJI achieved 62% annual business growth in 2006 and launched an online travel site in India this year. ZUJI also operates various B2B ‘Travel Partner Network’ sites as additional distribution points for hotels throughout Asia Pacific.

This deal cannot to be combined with any other Disney offer, is valid for only one complimentary ticket per booking / reservation and is limited to the first 200 tickets on a first come first serve basis.
