China Southern Airlines launches New Non-Stop Guangzhou-Dubai Flights

China Southern Airlines has launched  flights between Guangzhou in China and Dubai in the United Arab of Emirates.

The airline is using a wide-body Boeing 777B with a one-way flight time of roughly nine hours. Outbound flight CZ383 departs Guangzhou at 20:10 (local), every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, arriving in Dubai at 01:10 a.m. (local), the next day. The return flight from Dubai CZ384 departs at 02:50 (local) every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and arrives in Guangzhou at 14:50. 

This is the carrier’s second Guangzhou-outbound International flight launched this year and adds to its new Guangzhou-Kathmandu service that opened last February 5.

This year China Southern Airlines plans to open eight new International round-trip routes from Guangzhou:

Guangzhou – Yangon - July 9, 2007
Guangzhou – Phuket - July 10, 2007
Guangzhou – Siem Reap - July 11, 2007
Guangzhou – Vientiane - July 12, 2007
Guangzhou – New Delhi - September 9, 2007
Guangzhou – Sendai - October 28, 2007
Guangzhou – Sapporo - October 28, 2007
Guangzhou – Luanda  - application in process

As these new routes are launched, International outbound routes from Guangzhou will nearly double from the current 18 to 26. Weekly International frequencies will spike from the current 136 to 182 flights – an increase of more than 30%.

From March 28 to April 16, China Southern Airlines is offering special fares between Guangzhou and Dubai, with one way fares priced at RMB2,250 Yuan and a round trip for RMB4,000 Yuan in Economy Class.
