Delivering Asia Communications has appointed David Johnson as Vice-President, Publishing Services to launch a
publishing and advertising sales division for the organisation.
Mr Johnson has spent the past 16 years in Asia working in publishing, travel communications and the advertising industry while living in
Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Philippines, experiencing exposure to all media from television and daily newspapers, to monthly
magazines, intelligence reports, journals, websites and books.
Prior to joining Delivering Asia Communications, Mr Johnson was Managing Director at Asia Books, one of the region’s leading publishers.
Bangkok-based Delivering Group co-founder and Director, Mr Mark Simmons,
said that Mr Johnson’s appointment would enhance the range of
communication and publishing options offered to the group’s clients.
“David has a vast background in publishing – through his time in the media and as Managing Director of Asia Books – and brings to the
communications arm of the group a great deal of knowledge and experience to service our clients,” Mr Simmons
said.
“This new publishing services division now enables us to provide our clients with fully integrated communications strategies, such as collateral
production and media planning and buying, alongside the group’s global sales and marketing activities.”
