Air is to launch thrice-weekly chartered flight services to Calgary, the UNESCO World Heritage Site
of Canada for the two months from July 1 to September 2, 2007.
The new service is expected to widen the road between North America and Asia which had long suffered from seat shortage in summer due
to high air travel demand for leisure and English language courses.
The three outbound flights will depart Seoul/Incheon on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 6:20pm and arrive in Calgary at 2:05pm the
same day. The return flight will leave Calgary on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays at 4:05 pm and arrive in Seoul/Incheon at 6:30pm the
following day. Korean Air will use 301-seat Boeing 777-200 aircraft to serve
Calgary, the gateway to the Rocky Mountains, is characterized by the pioneer spirit that helped to settle the West. It is the traffic hub situated
between the magnificent Canadian Rockies on the west and the prairie on the east.

Korean Air's new charter service to Calgary marks the airline's third direct flight operation to Canada following Vancouver, Toronto and is
expected to boost the flow of visitors between the two countries as well as leisure travelers to Canada during this summer season. The new
