Silversea Cruises launches 2007 Historical Havens Cruise aboard Luxurious Silver Cloud

Silversea Cruises has revealed details of its 2007 “Historical Havens” Cruise from Rome to Monte Carlo aboard its luxurious Silver Cloud.

The exclusive cruise will call at a total of five destinations during the 7-night voyage from 8 to 15 June 2007, where at each guests will see ancient architecture, modern art, beautiful landscapes and a plethora of culture before returning to the six-star luxury of the Silver Cloud.

Departing from Rome, a leisurely first day is spent at sea before the first stop at Palma de Mallorca where guests can immerse themselves in the cosmopolitan city of sophisticated shops and spectacular architecture.

Sailing on to Valencia, Spain’s third largest city and famous for its culinary offerings, guests will be able to explore the cities diverse facets by day and night. The capital of the Old Kingdom of Valencia, the city is seeped in history, architectural splendour and offers a wide range of entertainment options.

The Silver Cloud then sails to Barcelona, home of the infamous artist Guadi. Here, multitudes of art galleries, landscaped parks and elegant boutiques line the delicate cobbled streets.

The penultimate port of call for Silver Cloud is the island of Porquerolles, where just a short stroll from port guests will be led to pristine white sand beaches framed by rugged hills.

Monte Carlo is the ship’s final destination. Located in the tiny principality of Monaco, known for its fairytale pink Royal palace and spectacular casino this Cote d’Azur playground for the rich and famous also offers spacious beaches, elegant hotels and a vibrant nightlife.
