Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa voted Best Luxurious Resort of the Year

The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa emerged as the Best Luxurious Resort of the Year by Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA) judges for the year 2007/2008 during its recent Gala Charity Dinner & Awards Presentation Ceremony held at the Grand Nirwana Ballroom, Crowne Plaza Mutiara Kuala Lumpur.

HAPA recognizes and rewards people and establishments that have shown passion and dedication to the industry. The awards held annually between Malaysia and Singapore will now be launching its Regional Series to include other ASEAN countries.

Apart from being crowned as the Luxury Resort of The Year, The Westin Langkawi Resort & Spa was also crowned for having the best Concierge Department of The Year. The resort was also short listed to be among the top three finalists for 3 other categories – Service Excellence Award, Hotel / Resort Spa and Housekeeping Department of The Year.
