The Place Hotel & Spa in Shanghai to feature Anantara Spa

The Place Hotel & Spa, set to be one of Shanghai’s most exclusive lodgings when it opens in early 2008, has confirmed that its in-house spa will be managed by MSPA International, owners of the award winning boutique brand, Anantara Spa.

The design of the spa will make the most of the surrounding parkland with sky high views and a spacious setting. It will offer five luxurious spa suites featuring steam showers, bath tubs for two, spacious relaxation and changing areas with ample room and privacy for couples, friends or those seeking tranquil solitude.

The treatment menu has yet to be released but will include the Anantara ‘Spa Journeys’ treatment packages, exotic body treatments, various massage therapies and facials; all containing the world’s timeless rejuvenation secrets from the East and the West. In addition, the spa will also offer a number of bespoke treatments designed especially for The Place Hotel & Spa. These will include the “culture of Anantara”, a signature treatment unique to each Ananatara Spa.

The Place Hotel & Spa, will open in the early part of 2008. It will be an integral part of the Park Place development which is set to be a new business landmark on Nanjing Lu West.
