The Nam Hai in Vietnam launches Luxury Experience Package

Travel News Asia Friday, 23 February 2007

One of Vietnam’s most exclusive oceanfront resorts, The Nam Hai, is offering an introductory ‘Luxury Experience’ package from US$500 a night.

The special rate for two guests in a pool villa is valid until March 31. From April 1 to October 31, 2007 the package price increases to US$850 a night.

For guests staying two nights, the introductory package includes airport transfers from nearby Danang, a three-course dinner, surprise gift and ‘Club Benefits’ of breakfasts, butler service, complimentary laundry and mini-bar, afternoon tea, cocktail hour drinks and canapés, and limousine service for visits to nearby Hoi An and Danang City.

Those staying 3 to 5 nights are additionally treated to a 60-minute Vietnamese massage at the resort’s state-of-the art spa. Guests staying longer than six nights are further treated to a complimentary last night.

Alternatively, with accommodation in a one-bedroom villa instead of pool villa, the ‘Nam Hai Experience’ is on offer at just US$300 a night until March 31, and US$550 from April 1 to October 31.

The rate includes breakfast and return airport limousine transfers for guests staying two nights. Those staying from 3 to 5 nights are also treated to a three-course dinner, and those staying over six nights additionally receive a complimentary last night.

Occupying 35 hectares of landscaped tropical gardens overlooking the South China Sea, The Nam Hai is an all-villa resort with 60 one-bedroom villas and 40 pool villas with their own luxurious infinity pool.

Besides the spa and gourmet restaurant, it features a beachside restaurant, three swimming pools, tennis courts, badminton and basketball courts and a nearby 18-hole golf course planned to be opened shortly.

Just 15 minutes away is picturesque Hoi An, an ancient ‘Silk Route’ trading port which was at the crossroads of South-East Asian sea trade from the 15th to 19th centuries. Today its quaint blend of indigenous Vietnamese, Chinese and French colonial architecture is preserved as a UNESCO World Heritage site, with the provincial ‘old town’ thriving as a popular tourist destination -- complete with trendy sidewalk cafes, bars and restaurants.

The five-star resort is a member of The Leading Small Hotels of the World. Rates quoted above are per villa for two guests and subject to 5% service charge and 10% government tax.
