Metropolitan Bangkok launches New Year Celebration Packages

The stylish Metropolitan Bangkok is offering special New Year celebration packages in the Thai capital to welcome 2008, starting at US$280++.

On offer for the night of December 31, the 'New Year's In-Style Package' features a Gala Dinner at signature Mediterranean restaurant Cy'an, where an open-air veranda flanks the hotel's outdoor pool.

The package includes welcome cocktail, supper band, countdown and fireworks at Hotel Porte Corchere, and free entrance to the hotel's Met Bar, where a New Year's Eve party till 5am will feature dancing to Thai and international DJs.

With limousine airport transfers included, along with Met Breakfast the next morning, plus a sumptuous New Year's Day brunch at Cy'an, the package based on single occupancy is priced at US$280++ (US$380++ for double occupancy) in a Metropolitan Room, US$320++ (US$420++ for double occupancy) for a Terrace Suite and US$620++ (US$729++ for double occupancy) in an opulent Penthouse Suite.

Additional benefits include complimentary yoga/stretch class at COMO Shambhala spa, and complimentary pressing of two pieces of clothing, with extra nights including breakfast priced from US$180++ to US$500++.

A similar alternative, the 'New Year's Revival Package' for the same night simply replaces airport transfers with a 60-minute COMO Shambhala massage for two, plus a COMO Shambhala gift box set.

The New Year's Revival Package priced from US$280++ for single occupancy with additional nights including breakfast priced from US$180++ to US$500++. Both packages are on offer for a minimum of two nights, require advance booking and are subject to 10% service charge plus 7% VAT.
