The Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong is to offer male guests the Mandarin Shave, a special wet shave treatment developed by Master Barber, Robert Angel Gonzalez. Fresh from Los Angeles Robert will be arriving at the hotel on December 3rd and will be available for private appointments until the 6th December.

The new treatment, developed exclusively for the hotel in collaboration with the True Gentlemen product range, includes a double aromatherapy hot towel shave followed by a refreshing cold towel wrap to invigorate and awaken the skin. The shave will be followed by a facial massage using un-scented After Shave Balm. Cotton balls dipped in cool lavender water placed delicately on the eyelids for a few moments of tranquil relaxation, after which a cold towel is applied to refresh the skin.

The Mandarin Shave treatment at the Mandarin Barber which costs HK$500, makes a fabulous pre-Christmas treat. Reservations are recommended.
