Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya Restructures Sales & Marketing Department

The Royal Cliff Beach Resort in Pattaya has restructured its Sales & Marketing Department. The re-organised Sales & Marketing Department is now headed by its Director Victor Kriventsov, who has been with the resort for over 11 years in various Sales & Marketing-related positions. Michael Swart, Senior Sales Manager – MICE International, has been elevated to Deputy Director of Sales & Marketing.

The Leisure, MICE, Domestic and e-commerce sales teams, the marketing communications team and the event management team have been integrated to help provide enhanced customer service and for operational ease, efficiency and increased performance.

In line with this strategic move, new positions – Senior Sales & Marketing Manager for the UK and Ireland, Senior Sales Manager for the European Zone and Sales Manager for MICE, Europe – were created to enhance the resort’s international sales force to take advantage of the expanding markets.

Michael Passmore, a Briton, is Senior Sales & Marketing Manager with specific responsibility for the UK and Ireland markets. Passmore previously held senior positions with multinational corporations in the Middle East.

Passmore’s appointment was preceded by Rudolf Roithmayr’s, who joined the sales force as Senior Sales Manager for Europe. Roithmayr has worked in Thailand for 8 years and previously held key industry positions in Phuket and Koh Samui.

Further, Briton Mark Smith will join the team as Sales Manager for MICE from 1 November. Smith has over 8 years of experience as a travel industry professional.
