The Westin Resort Nusa Dua
has launched a new and innovative program entitled Revitalize... A Pool Experience at The Westin Bali!
"This program aims to provide our guests with refreshing
chill-out time during the day around the pool as well as the beach area,"
said Executive Assistant Manager, Mr. Dario Orsini. "I personally have fond memories of being young and enjoying ice cream
and cool drinks on a hot sunny day after a swim or just playing on the beach. The Westin wants to
recapture the carefree sprit of summer by providing complimentary refreshing beverages for
in-house guests during the day around the pool and beach areas."
The Food and Beverage team was consulted about this new program and some interesting ideas
were discussed evoking childhood memories of summer time family fun. "In fact it was quite difficult
to choose just what to implement as everything sounded extremely appealing,"
added Dario.
The team finally decided to go with frozen fruit bars on a stick, as this is not only
a refreshing treat but also healthy. Other alternative refreshments include a little scoop of ice cream
served in a crispy cone that can be consumed in a single bite, as well as a shot of a lychee syrup and young coconut juice.
