The JIA Shanghai has launched a special ‘Winter Warmth’ package. Available from December 1, 2007 to February 29, 2008 the Winter Warmth package invites guest to explore Shanghai’s winter months with a stay at the JIA from RMB 1,895++ for a studio and RMB 2,695++ for a Suite.

In addition to the complimentary extras that guests enjoy on every stay at JIA - a welcome cocktail, continental breakfast, all-day soft drinks, afternoon cakes and evening wine in the Lobby - guests are also treated to a gift of a special winter ‘woven’ tea blend. Made with Jasmine flowers, the Chinese herbal tea blend is beneficial for warmth and good health. The tea leaves are woven into different shapes that explode with flavour when added to the teapot.

Located in the heart of the city on the corner of Nanjing Road and Tai Xing Road, JIA Shanghai is set within a stunning 1920’s building.

JIA Shanghai opened in August 2007, just three and a half years after the successful launch of JIA Hong Kong, the first Philippe Starck-designed boutique hotel in Asia.

Already making an impression in Shanghai, JIA Shanghai features 55 chic timber-walled and floored guestrooms and suites, some with private balconies, and a host of special facilities for travellers including kitchen pods with microwave ovens, latest home-theatre entertainment and communications technology, and signature designer décor complimented by exquisite Chinese objects d’art and photographic artwork.

The Lobby Lounge exclusively serves JIA residents complimentary continental breakfast, all day soft beverages, afternoon cakes and evening wine daily. In addition, an interesting menu of sensational cocktails, wines and champagnes is on offer from the Lobby bar from noon till midnight.

JIA Shanghai also features a Techno gym and a Business Centre with two offices and a boardroom with videoconferencing facilities as well as an Italian restaurant which will open in December 2007.

There is complimentary broadband and wi-fi throughout the hotel.
