This festive season
Conrad Hotels & Resorts has created “Conrad Connections”, a series of
complimentary extras to help guests make the most of the festive period.
Conrad Connections has been created to enable guests to stay in touch with
those closest to them during the holiday season. Guests will be offered a
complimentary five minute phone call anywhere in the world to keep them in
touch with the people they care about whilst they are away from home. To ease
the pressure of this time of year, participating hotels will also offer a
complimentary gift wrapping service enabling guests to return home ready to
celebrate.
Each participating hotel has also incorporated complimentary
drinks and local delicacies to share regional festivities with guests. Examples
include:
The Conrad
Chicago which will indulge visitors with its Chocolate Infatuation
service including decadent treats such as truffles, chocolate dipped strawberries and Godiva dark chocolate liqueur.
While
the Conrad Istanbul will offer sweet local Turkish Delight.
The Conrad Sharm El
Sheikh will spoil guests with a selection of
customary Egyptian pastries including Basbousa, Shakallama and Konafa.
While
a Faverger chocolate
fondue awaits guests at the Conrad Miami.
Richard Blamey, Senior Vice President, Brand Management, Conrad Hotels &
Resorts, said, “Our records show that guests
making international calls generally make brief calls and often dial the same
number several times. For example at the Conrad Istanbul, more than 90% of the international calls made by our guests during the holiday period last
year lasted approximately five minutes.
“Even during the holiday period, up to a quarter of our guests are still travelling
for business. Conrad Connections aims to help keep them in touch with those
closest to them over the seasonal break as sometimes the smallest gestures can
make the biggest difference.”
Conrad Connections is available at select Conrad hotels and resorts between 21
December 2007 and 4 January 2008.
