The Oriental, Singapore
(soon to be renamed the Mandarin
Oriental, Singapore) has appointed Ms Stella Gillera as Director of Sales and Marketing, putting her at the helm of all sales and marketing as
well as the communications activities of the hotel.
Gillera
has over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, with specific strength in the
areas of business development, revenue yield management, and communications.
Some notable appointments in Gillera’s career include: director of sales and marketing of The
Regent Beijing and Park Plaza Beijing Wangfujing; and the director of sales and marketing at the
InterContinental Financial Street Beijing, The Four Seasons Resorts Bali and The Regent Jakarta.
She has also worked for Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts in the Philippines and Myanmar.
Adding to her comprehensive industry experience, Gillera holds a Certificate in Business
Management from the Washington State University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of the
Philippines.
