Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort awarded Five Star Rating

Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort  has been officially recognized as a five-star resort by Thailand's Foundation for Standard and Human Resource development in Hospitality Industry (Hotel Standard). The award was presented to Martin Raich, General Manager of Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort by Dr. Suvit Yodmanee, Minister of Tourism and Sports of Thailand.

The five star rating was awarded based on the evaluation of the resort's physical aspects including location and surroundings, construction aspect of the architecture, safety and security system, facilities, quality of service and maintenance.

"Le Meridien is extremely gratified to earn this prestigious five-star rating. We believe it illustrates our superior quality of services and facilities and our consistent improvement to achieve the level beyond to surprise, delight and make our guests feel at home" said Martin Raich.

The recent development of the resort includes the opening of an airport lounge in Phuket International Airport providing airport representatives to welcome and assist the resort's guests upon their arrival. A new culinary creation has also been added to the resort's Bangsak Grill with the introduction of Italian cuisine.

Le Meridien Khao Lak Beach & Spa Resort is located 70 minutes drive from Phuket International airport. It is nestled on a mile long stretch of white sand beach on the coast line of Phang Nga, famous for its beautiful land and sea and packed with national parks that offer magnificent scenery with immensely different attractions.

The resort features 243 luxurious guestrooms, suites and villas. Some villas have a private swimming pool, Jacuzzi and direct beach access or lagoon view.
