Fuss-Free Travel with Singapore Airlines 2D Boarding Pass Service

Travel News Asia Thursday, 19 April 2007

Singapore Airlines is now offering its self-printed 2D-barcode Boarding Pass facility across more than half of its global network. These passes are accepted at 37 out of the Airlines 64 international stations, with more to be added in the near future.

The 2D boarding pass is an additional feature in the suite of online check-in offerings, which customers can access via singaporeair.com. Customers with confirmed bookings can check-in over the internet up to 48 hours before their flight, select their preferred seat, and print their 2D boarding passes from the comfort of their home, office, and even hotel.

Customers will soon be able to print their 2D Boarding Passes at the business centres of more than ten established hotels in Singapore. In time to come, this convenient facility will be progressively made available at more hotels in Singapore and overseas.

With the 2D Boarding Pass Service departure processing at airports is much quicker. Customers need only head to the Singapore Airlines Fast Bag Drop counters at the airport to get their travel documents and boarding passes verified before dropping off their bags.
