JIA Hong
Kong, the trendy hotel located in Causeway Bay and designed by Philippe Starck, was voted ‘Hong Kong’s Leading Boutique Hotel’
in the inaugural World Travel Awards for Asia, Australasia and the Indian Ocean.
JIA was ranked alongside the Landmark Mandarin Oriental as Hong Kong’s Leading Hotel, and the InterContinental as leading business
hotel. The awards ceremony was held earlier this month at The Leela Palace Kempinski Bangalore, India.

prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Hot List 2006 of the world’s top new hotels. London’s Independent newspaper voted it one of the five best

OPIA, the hotel’s chic signature restaurant and bar, was voted Best Restaurant in the South China Morning Post/Harper’s Bazaar Style
Awards 2006, Wallpaper magazine voted in among the top five ‘Best New Restaurants’
(worldwide) in their 2006 Judges Awards and Opia was also ranked among Condé Nast Traveler’s ‘Hot Tables 2006’, their annual listing of the world’s best new places to dine and by Hong
Kong Tattler among the ‘Best New Restaurants 2007’.
