JIA Hong Kong Voted Hong Kong's Leading Boutique Hotel

JIA Hong Kong, the trendy hotel located in Causeway Bay and designed by Philippe Starck, was voted Hong Kongs Leading Boutique Hotel in the inaugural World Travel Awards for Asia, Australasia and the Indian Ocean.

JIA was ranked alongside the Landmark Mandarin Oriental as Hong Kongs Leading Hotel, and the InterContinental as leading business hotel. The awards ceremony was held earlier this month at The Leela Palace Kempinski Bangalore, India.

Renowned as one of Hong Kongs hippest places to see and be seen, JIA Hong Kong was also the only Hong Kong hotel listed on the prestigious Cond Nast Traveler Hot List 2006 of the worlds top new hotels. Londons Independent newspaper voted it one of the five best boutique hotels in Greater China.

OPIA, the hotels chic signature restaurant and bar, was voted Best Restaurant in the South China Morning Post/Harpers Bazaar Style Awards 2006, Wallpaper magazine voted in among the top five Best New Restaurants (worldwide) in their 2006 Judges Awards and Opia was also ranked among Cond Nast Travelers Hot Tables 2006, their annual listing of the worlds best new places to dine and by Hong Kong Tattler among the Best New Restaurants 2007.
