Virgin Atlantic launches Luggage Promotion for Golfers

Between the 28 May and the 15 July this year Virgin Atlantic will be running a special offer for all its keen golfers. Passengers will be able to take another piece of luggage for free in addition to taking their golf clubs along with their normal luggage allowance. The offer is for flights departing from London Gatwick and Manchester airport only for destinations to the Caribbean and Florida.

Paul Dickinson, Virgin's Director of Sales & Marketing, said, “We are thrilled that we are able to help our passengers’ holidays go with a swing whether they choose the luscious golf courses in the Caribbean or the stunning courses in Florida.

“Thousands of budding Tiger Woods’ travel on Virgin Atlantic each year to improve their handicap & enjoy the 19th hole at some of the world class golf courses that the Caribbean and Florida have to offer.”

The offer allows for two pieces of luggage per passenger each weighing up to 23kgs and one set of golf clubs which includes a maximum of 14 clubs, a dozen golf balls and a pair of shoes.
