Over 49 Million Passengers for China Southern Airlines in 2006

During 2006, China Southern Airlines logged more than 920,000 safe flight hours and carried 49.21 million passengers.

In 2006, the airline introduced 64 new Airbus and Boeing aircraft and now offers a fleet of 298 planes (including 100 Airbus aircraft). China Southern Airlines also successfully completed the International IOSA safety accreditation under IATA's new safety audit standard.

In 2005, China Southern Airlines safely moved 44.12 Million passengers and entered the elite "club" of the world's Top 10 passenger airlines.
