Century Hyatt Tokyo to be renamed Hyatt Regency Tokyo

Travel News Asia Friday, 1 June 2007

Effective 1st October 2007, the Century Hyatt Tokyo will be renamed Hyatt Regency Tokyo.

The hotel, which opened in September 1980, is the longest established Hyatt property in Japan, and is widely recognised for its reputation, standards of service excellence and attention to detail.

The renaming of the hotel as Hyatt Regency Tokyo will align the property with Hyatt Internationals portfolio of branded hotels. The property will also be an excellent addition to the Hyatt Regency network and strengthen Hyatts presence in Japan, which currently includes eight properties across the country, namely in Fukuoka, Hakone, Kyoto and Osaka, in addition to the inimitable Park Hyatt Tokyo and Grand Hyatt Tokyo in the countrys capital city.
