InterContinental
Hotels Group (IHG) has appointed Anne Gill as director of national sales Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, responsible for the
group’s national sales team that drives business to InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels across the region.
Anne joins IHG after seven years with Amalgamated Holdings and Rydges Hotels and Resorts, where she was most recently director of domestic
and international sales for four years. In her new role, Anne will manage IHG’s national sales team across the region and operate in conjunction
with the group’s extensive sales and marketing teams and resources around the world.
Anne replaces outgoing director of national sales, Anthony Mayes who moves to
the InterContinental Sydney as director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Anthony will be responsible for all sales, marketing and revenue management within the iconic hotel, joining the executive team led
by general manager, Alvaro Rey.
