Langham Hotels International is to manage its first Langham Place Resort in Thailand, thanks to a contract signed with Rawi Warin Resort & Spa. The agreement marks a significant first step for Langham in Thailand and a milestone for the group’s expansion in South East Asia.

Located on Lanta Yai Island, in Krabi province, Southern Thailand, the resort renamed as the Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa is a five-star property offering 185 rooms and villas which extend directly from the beach up the hillside overlooking Klong Tob Bay. Most have magnificent sea views and the villas have their own private plunge pool and sala area where guests can relax and reconnect with yourself, your loved one and nature.

The resort has a vast array of facilities for sporting and leisure interests and even boasts of its own mini cinema. The hotel's spa, Chuan Spa, is where healing hands will pamper, soothe and reinvigorate guests with a wide variety of natural treatments.

The Langham Place Eco Resort + Spa is also a refreshing venue to host meetings, incentive trips and weddings with its balanced facilities and friendly, engaged Langham Place Service surrounded by the beauty of a tropical Island.

“This is the first step for Langham Hotels International in creating a presence in Thailand. We aim to increase our investments in the country through building our own hotels, joint venture partnerships and acquiring further management contracts,” said Dr. KS Lo, Chairman of Langham Hotels International.

Mr. Pramote Titayangkurn, President of Rawi Warin Resort & Spa said, “Rawi Warin Resort is built as a luxury five-star resort amidst the best that nature has to offer. The resort is now ready to take off and what we need at this point is for an international hotel management company to bring the resort to the next level.”

“Langham Hotels International has proven itself to be a successful international luxury hotel management company and we are very confident that under their management, the resort will be brought to new heights,” added Mr. Titayangkurn.
