Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Thursday, 13 December  2007

Hawaiian Airlines has launched a special fare sale for travel between Australia and tropical Hawaii in the New Year.

Prices start from just A$949 ex Sydney including taxes and are valid for travel between 20 January and 16 March 2008. Christmas specials are also available from other Australian cities.

During this time of year, visitors to Hawaii can expect mild mid 20 temperatures, ideal for the many touring and adventure activities available in Hawaii, or simply relaxing on the beach or by the pool.

Hawaiian Airlines Christmas special fare is also offered to the neighbouring islands of Maui, Kauai and The Big Island of Hawaii for an additional indicative cost of A$156.

The Christmas special fare must be booked and paid for by 28 December. Seats are limited at these prices and conditions apply.

Hawaiian Airlines departs Sydney each Wednesday, Friday and Sunday evening, crossing the international dateline and arriving in Honolulu mid morning the same day, enabling passengers to clear US customs and be on world famous Waikiki Beach by early afternoon, or connect to Hawaii’s neighbouring islands that day.

Members of the Virgin Blue’s Airlines loyalty program, Velocity, can earn and redeem points on Hawaiian Airlines flights.
