Vietnam Casino City, Vietnams first luxury gaming resort, featuring five themed casinos and a Greg Norman-designed golf course situated in Vung Tau province, has begun construction. Site plans include a massive arts and entertainment district with several theatres and museums, a cultural center, and an ongoing parade of events. The total development cost of the project is projected to be US$4 billion.

Phase One of the project will include 1,200 hotel rooms, a 7,200-square meter Las Vegas-style table games casino, 10 restaurants, an 8-acre swimming pool, and a 200-acre golf course and country club. The development cost of Phase One of the project is US$500 million and is expected to be completed by late 2009.

Vietnam Casino City is projected to have a total gross floor area of approximately 1.5 million square meters. The project will occupy 3.5 kilometers of undeveloped white-sand beaches in Xuyen Moc, Vung Tau province, a two-hour drive east of Ho Chi Minh City.

The planned entertainment components of Vietnam Casino City represents some of the most comprehensive and extensive of any single property in Vietnam, including five world-class resort-casinos, a 200-acre golf course and country club, theatres, health clubs, retail shops, theatres, museums, and a cultural center.

Paul Steelman Design Group, renowned as a visionary Las Vegas-based entertainment and casino design expert and pioneering architect behind the Sands Macao and Macao Studio City, is the architect of this phenomenal project. The enormous scale of Vietnam Casino City signals the arrival of the first Las Vegas-style resort-casino in Vietnam. The projects developers are Asian Coast Development Ltd. of Toronto, with partners Fontainebleau Resorts, a U.S. resort developer; and Paul Steelman.

Paul Steelman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Paul Steelman Design Group said, This is a very special time in our history and I am proud to be a part of this remarkable and revolutionary project. We are going to make sure that Vietnam Casino City is going to be our most exciting project yet and transform this city into an unsurpassed travel and entertainment destination.

Our philosophy is remember-and-repeat. The Vietnam Casino City will make lasting impressions to visitors that will keep them coming back. The casino city we envision will resemble a Las Vegas-style gaming and entertainment destination that will offer extravagant entertainment activities, such as gaming, dining, and shopping. Vietnam Casino City will become a coastal paradise. We want visitors who come here to leave feeling more alive, enthused Mr. Steelman.

We are excited that the Vietnamese Government has designated resort-casino development as an essential element of modernizing and expanding the countrys tourism industry, making it a priority for 2007 Mr. Steelman added.
