Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Friday, 12 October 2007

Reed Travel Exhibitions has appointed Events magazine to produce the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo's official newsletter, AIME Daily.

"We are delighted to appoint Events magazine as our official AIME Daily publisher. The new agreement with Events will see a high quality publication produced using the resources of Reed Business Information Asia (RBI Asia). It will also allow us to introduce a number of new initiatives that will benefit exhibitors, visitors and the environment," said Rosemarie Sama, AIME Event Director.

"The key objective of our new environmental policy is for AIME 2008 to set a new benchmark for exhibitions in Australia, in terms of environmental impact.

"Our new relationship with Events will help us to provide an alternative online AIME Daily, as well as produce a quality printed AIME Daily on recycled stock. After use, all printed AIME Dailies not required can be recycled at the event," she said.

Iris Kwan, Publisher, Travel and Meetings Group, RBI Asia, said "Backed by our wealth of experience in publishing and show daily production, the collaboration will see new heights in both content and distribution. We are introducing new platforms onsite and offsite, from print to electronic, forming the perfect communication channels for exhibitors and buyers."

AIME 2008, Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo, will be held at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre, 19-20 February.
