Silversea Cruises offers Fort Lauderdale to Hong Kong or Hong Kong to Fort Lauderdale World Cruise

On January 16, 2008, Silversea’s Silver Shadow is set to embark on its second World Cruise "The Rhythms of the World," a 110-day voyage encircling the world from Fort Lauderdale, embracing the cultures of more than 25 countries in over 50 different ports of call.

This year, Silversea is offering guests the opportunity to embark or disembark the cruise midway through its voyage in Hong Kong. Guests can cruise 44 days from Fort Lauderdale to Hong Kong, 16 January – 1 March, or 66 days from Hong Kong to Fort Lauderdale 1 March – 6 May.

44 Days Fort Lauderdale - Hong Kong

Departing from Fort Lauderdale, the intimate and luxurious Silver Shadow will sail through the Panama Canal and along the Mexican Riviera, escaping to four paradise Hawaiian hideaways. Guests will visit remote and beautiful islands in the Pacific Ocean, Majuro in the Marshall Islands, Pohnpei in Micronesia, Apra Harbor on the island of Guam and Saipan in the Mariana Islands. From ports in China, Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand Silver Shadow will sail on to the fascinating and alluring India, mysterious Egypt and timelessly beautiful Italy in a transatlantic crossing of a lifetime. Highlights include extended overnight calls in Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, Mumbai, Safaga (for Luxor) and Barcelona.

Guests can also choose to take advantage of numerous land and shore excursions, including the Splendours of Beijing and Shanghai, the Xi’an Warriors, Vietnam in Depth, Spectacular Angkor Wat and Phnom Penh, The Taj Mahal and Jaipur, Anjanta and Ellora Cave, Luxor’s Off the Beaten Path Treasures, Amazing Jordan and many more.
