New General Manager at Orchard Hotel Singapore

Millennium and Copthorne International  has appointed Mr Rene Teuscher as General Manager of the Orchard Hotel Singapore.

Taking the helm at Orchard Hotel Singapore, Mr Teuscher will be responsible for the overall business operations and continued success of this 653-room five-star hotel situated on the famous Orchard Road and home to well known and celebrated Chinese restaurant Hua Ting and Orchard Café.

A veteran hotelier for over 30 years, Mr Teuscher has a wealth of experience honed from his association with major hotels in Asia Pacific and Middle East countries. His areas of expertise include proven skills in pre-opening and opening hotels and resorts, rooms and F&B operation and cost management.

Mr Rene Teuscher has been associated with International hotel companies such as Marriott International and Mandarin Oriental amongst others. 

Commenting on his position, Swiss-born Mr Teuscher who is trilingual in German, English and French remarked, “It is an exciting opportunity to join one of the largest hotel groups in the world and an honour for me to be working for its flagship property in Singapore, located in the world famous Orchard Road!
