Marriott opens Second Hotel in Tijuana, Mexico

Marriott has opened the 209-room Tijuana Marriott Hotel in Tijuana, Mexico, under a franchise agreement with Turismo Tijuana, S.A. de C.V., a subsidiary of Grupo Diaz, a large Mexican holding company. Marriott already operates one other hotel in Tijuana, the Residence Inn by Marriott Tijuana Real del Mar.

To celebrate the opening, the Tijuana Marriott Hotel is offering a special introductory rate of US$145 per night plus all applicable taxes.

The hotel, which recently underwent extensive renovations, is conveniently located in the Colonia Aviacion district of Tijuana, near Zona Rio, the citys bustling financial and business district.

For dining and entertainment, the hotel offers Condimento restaurant, specializing in local Mexican cuisine and serving three meals daily. The hotel also features Arkas, a specialty martini and tapas bar, and a lobby lounge. 

For conferences and social events, the Tijuana Marriott Hotel has 14 meeting rooms offering 1,364 square meters of total meeting space. High-speed Internet access (HSIA) is available in all meeting rooms, and wireless connectivity is also available in all public areas throughout the hotel.

Recreational amenities include a heated outdoor swimming pool and fully equipped fitness center. Other amenities include 24-hour room service, an in-room DVD player and full-service business center.
